Bikini Models – Keeping Your Body Photoshoot Ready (Part 1)


Together with a number of other requirements, diet is crucial for a  bikini-modelsbikini model! Your diet 1 week out from a photoshoot can work to your advantage or work against you! You should give consideration and be mindful of what you are drinking and eating, what your activities include, and just what your bad habits are!

After the 7 day countdown till your shoot takes place, you should eliminate any and all types of alcoholic beverages. Alcohol will dehydrate you, and depending on the amount you consume, it can make you have symptoms of feeling boated, make your teeth not as white, make you pale and give you dark circles around your eyes.

All you need to be drinking is water, absolutely no soft drinks, no unnatural juices, and eliminate almost all dairy products. Your body will require calcium, which means that 1 glass of milk together with dinner is certainly appropriate. The amount of water you need to consume every day is a minimum of 8 glasses.

In case you eat healthy, your daily diet should only change a little. You’ll want to eat 4-6 times per day.

A good example of an excellent diet plan for a bikini model

  • Breakfast:

Oatmeal and a fruit

  • Mid-morning snack:

A granola bar or yogurt

  • Lunch:

A salad using a light salad dressing 

  • Mid-afternoon snack:

A granola bar or yogurt

  • After your workout:

A protein shake

  • Dinner:

A smaller portioned meal which includes white meat, steamed rice    along with a side of veggies (your servings should be no larger than your fist) plus a glass of milk with dinner.

The kinds of foods that you really should have inside your pantry and fridge should be, low fat yogurt, fresh fruit, egg whites, granola bars, tuna fish, white meat, extra lean meats, whole grain rice, veggies and oatmeal, just to name a few. Make sure you avoid fried foods as well as foods that have a number of preservatives!

I highly recommend you consume water consistently throughout your day! Water helps you to eliminate the harmful toxins within your body, and drastically reduces how much bloating you might encounter while having your shoot.
